Thieves fail in robbery attempt

THIEVES were thwarted by a security alarm as they tried to break into Lloyds TSB IN Stony Stratford.

Between 1am on Saturday and 8.24am on Monday, they tried to get in through the back door. An alarm was activated, the thieves failed to get inside and nothing was taken.

Detective Constable David Brandon, from Milton Keynes police station, said: “If anyone has seen or heard anything suspicious in the rear parking area of the bank accessed via Church Street, Stony Stratford around the above times, please contact police.”
