Thieves smash window but leave with nothing in burglary

THIEVES left empty handed after smashing a window during a burglary in Stacey Bushes on Saturday.

Between 7pm and 8.25pm burglars broke into a house in White Alder by smashing a window before searching and leaving without stealing anything.

Any witnesses can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
