A 23-year-old man was punched to the floor while his watch was forcibly removed from his arm by three men.

The attack happened on Monday at around 3am when the victim was walking along Avebury Boulevard into the car park area between South Seventh and South Sixth Street.

Three men got out of a dark Volkswagen hatchback and threatened the victim with violence if he refused to hand over his belongings.

The victim attempted to walk away, but was punched to the floor while items in his pocket and a brown leather FOSSIL watch were stolen.

He suffered cuts and bruises.

An e-fit of one a man Thames Valley Police would like to speak to in connection with the robbery was released today.
