MANAGERS were jumping for joy at the opening of the first store in the MK1 devlopment yesterday – Outfit.

The stadium:mk based shopping complex will be opening River Island, Primark and Marks & Spencer stores in the coming weeks.

Outfit manager Lisa Wetherall said: “The opening of the store is absolutely fantastic and we are so pleased with how it’s gone.

“There is no Outfit store in Milton Keynes and we are in a prime location with IKEA and Asda stores, as well as the gym and the football stadium close by.

“We are expecting amazing things and we can be an amazing brand. We will provide some good competition for thecentre:mk.”

The River Island store is set to open on Saturday with M&S due to open next Thursday.

H&M will open on November 29 with Primark opening in early December.
