Westminster debate sees Iain Stewart MP highlight Milton Keynes’ problem with legal highs

Have your say

A debate on the damaging effects of legal highs saw Milton Keynes MP, Iain Stewart, speak out in Westminster yesterday.

A recent survey reported one percent of people in the UK were using NPS, better known as legal highs, as a first drug of choice but, in Milton Keynes that figure was at six per cent.

Mr Stewart joined MPs across the UK to voice their concerns on the growing problem of legal highs, which has seen related deaths in Milton Keynes rise in recent years from 10 in 2009 to 68 in 2012.
