Woman fights off mugger
Police appeal after 'vicious' assault
A woman was injured in a nasty attack as she walked home along Kennett Drive, Bletchley.
She was approached by a man who punched her face and kicked her stomach.
The man tried to take her handbag but the woman kept hold of it and he ran away with just a few cigarettes.
The incident, at about 11.20pm last Thursday (July 31), left the woman shaken, with minor injuries and a sore jaw.
Det Con Mark Smyth said: "This was a particularly nasty attack. The victim was very brave to fight back but it's not something we would recommend."
