Thirty other residents evacuated from their homes

A woman was rescued from her bedroom in Fishermead after fire broke out, trapping her upstairs.

Around 30 other residents were evacuated from their homes in Fishermead Boulevard as a precaution in the early hours of Sunday September 5.

Crews from Broughton, Great Holm and Bletchley attended at 1.47am, and the woman was rescued. The house was severely damaged by the fire.
