A Woolstone charity that provides support to blind and partially sighted children, young people and their families has been awarded funding.

VICTA, which organises activities designed to improve the emotional, social and living skills of the young people they support, was given £396.00 through the Waitrose Oak Grove Community Matters funding.

The campaign champions thousands of local charities and since its launch in 2008, £14 million has been donated.

If you are a family they can support, or would like to either volunteer or fundraise for them, please call the office 01908 240831.
