Young people in Milton Keynes are being offered £2,000 to deliver various projects to make a difference in their community.

Starbucks and UK Youth are offering the money to youngsters from across the UK and are now encouraging them to apply for funding, enabling them to bring their ideas to life. Additional support will be available in the form of training on a whole range of subjects from managing a budget, working with volunteers and project management.

City MP Mark Lancaster, said: “This is wonderful news for the 16-24 year olds living in Milton Keynes. The inspirational funding will allow young people to showcase their potential and make a difference in our city. I commend Starbucks and UK Youth in providing this motivational opportunity and I know there are many projects that would benefit from this boost in funding.”
