Lola,7, has 30cm of hair cut off for charity
A seven-year-old girl has raised more than £420 by having her long locks chopped for charity.
Lola Wedlake, who lives on Heelands, had 30cm cut off her waist length hair on Saturday.
She is donating the hair to the Princess Trust, which makes wigs for children with cancer. And she is giving the proceeds of her sponsored snip to the Macmillan unit at Milton Keynes hospital in memory of her great uncle.
“It’s all her own choice. We’re really proud of her,” said her grandmother Deidre.
