A popular charity café is to move into one of Milton Keynes’ iconic buildings while its own premises undergo major redevelopment.
MacIntyre’s Coffee Shop, which has been operating at Great Holm for over 20 years, has found a temporary home in The Point and will be open on October 1.
MacIntyre has its headquarters in Milton Keynes and provides services and support for over 170 people across the city
Itis about to start the redevelopment of its Lifelong Learning Centre at Great Holm having now found temporary homes for all of the activities normally based there.
Sadie Scott, who manages the coffee shop and catering services, said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity to be in the centre of Milton Keynes and to be able to operate in such terrific facilities, including a very large seating area and lots of customer potential from the other users of The Point and from passing trade.”
Visit MacIntyre at The Point on the opening day and mention this offer for a free cupcake with a hot drink.
