A 19-year-old man has been charged with offences following a football match in Milton Keynes.
Ben Hearn, of Tonstall Road, Epsom, Surrey, was charged yesterday with one count of assault by beating and one court of going on to playing area at a football match under the Football (Offences) Act 1991.
He was also charged with one count of using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour with intent to cause fear of/provoke unlawful violence.
The charges relate to offences committed at MK Dons vs AFC Wimbledon at Stadium MK match on August 12 in which a stadium steward was assaulted.
Hearn was bailed to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on 2 October.
