A 21-year-old man from Bletchley has been arrested in connection with the rape of a teenager in a city centre car park on Sunday.

He has already been released on police bail while officers make more enquiries about the incident.

The 19-year-old victim was in the Turtle Bay bar at The Hub from 10pm. She met a man in the bar and it is alleged he subsequently raped her in a car park in Avebury Boulevard, say police.

The offender is described as black, approximately 6ft 5ins tall, aged in his early 20s and of skinny build. He was wearing a brown leather jacket, black skinny chinos, a green hooded top and dark-coloured Vans shoes.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses who saw the man and the woman between 10pm on Sunday and 3.30am on Monday.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Philip Turner-Robson, said: “I would like to reassure residents that incidents of his nature are rare but if anyone has any concerns they should contact police.

“I would appeal to anyone who saw the two people together on Sunday night or in the early hours of Monday or anyone with any information about this incident to contact Force CID in Milton Keynes.”

If you have any information contact DS Turner-Robson via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
