Man assaulted by gang for trying to help staff in Milton Keynes McDonald’s

A 56-year-old man’s shoulder was broken and eye socket fractured after he stepped in to help McDonald’s staff who were thought to be being harassed by a gang.

The victim was assaulted after a fight broke out when he intervened at the Barnsdale Drive restaurant in Westcroft at 2.20am on Saturday morning.

He was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.

One of the offenders is also thought to have sustained an injury to his nose during the incident.

There were a number of people in the area at the time of the offence, and officers would like to speak to anyone who has any information about what happened.

A scene watch was in place on Saturday and officers were in the area conducting enquiries.
