Man assaulted outside Bletchley flats

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an assault in the Bletchley area of Milton Keynes.

The incident happened outside Mellish Court, Bletchley, at around 9.45pm on Thursday (7/7).

The victim, a 19-year-old man, and his girlfriend were approached outside the front of the flats by two men on bikes.

One of the men got off his bike and hit the victim in the face. During a struggle that followed, the victim also suffered a cut to his eye and scratches to his back, shoulders and arms after falling into a bush.

Det Con Greg Hughes, from Milton Keynes CID, said: “I would like to reassure the community that we do not believe that this is a random attack. We believe that the victim and offenders know each other, however, I am still keen to trace anyone who was in the area at the time who may have information that could help with our investigation.”

The main offender is a white man, 18 or 19-years-old, around 5ft 10ins, slim, with blond hair. He was wearing a grey hoodie.

The other man is white, 18 or 19-years-old, around 5ft 7ins, slim, with brown hair. He was wearing a dark hoodie.
