A man fought back against his attackers after being assaulted as he walked along the street with his headphones on.
The 29-year-old fell backwards after being grabbed by two men at around 7.30pm on Friday.
He managed to run away after pushing one of the men and punching the other.
It happened as he was walking towards Adelphi Street on a Redway which leads to Campbell Park, adjacent to Silbury Boulevard.
Nothing was stolen during the incident and the victim was not injured.
The first offender is black, approximately 6ft, approximately 25 to 30 years old, and was clean shaven. He was wearing a dark jacket and a dark beanie style hat.
The second offender is black, approximately 6ft, clean shaven, hair short black Afro style hair, and was wearing a dark Puffa-style jacket.
PC Gavin Ramdyal said; “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault or anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the incident.”
