A man in his 70s suffered life-threatening injuries after he was involved in a serious collision yesterday (10/4).

The incident happened at around 8.30am, when a cyclist and silver Vauxhall Corsa collided at the Bancroft roundabout, at the junction between the V6 Grafton Street and the H3 Monks Way.

The cyclist was wearing a red lycra top and riding a blue Giant road bike. He was taken to Milton Keynes Hospital.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either the vehicle or the cyclist prior to it, should contact police on 0845 8 505 505. or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and released on bail until May 22.
