A man has been jailed for 15 months for stalking a woman and dangerous driving.

Anthony Bridges, 41, of Lennon Drive, Crownhill, was given his custodial sentence yesterday (Monday).

Bridges pleaded guilty to one count of stalking and one count of dangerous driving at Aylesbury Crown Court.

Investigations began when Bridges drove his car at and narrowly missed the victim in Ackroyd Place, Shenley Lodge, on November 18 last year.

Between May 31 and June 4 this year, Bridges stalked his victim and even placed a tracking device on her car in order to follow the vehicle, the court heard.

Investigating officer, DC Rob Blake, of Milton Keynes CID, said: “The victim suffered a terrifying ordeal during both of these incidents. The psychological impact this has had on her life is immense.

“This investigation highlights the fact that Thames Valley Police is committed to helping victims of domestic violence and bringing offenders to justice.”
