Man robbed of phone by three men on BMX bikes

A 28-YEAR-OLD man had his mobile phone and wallet stolen by three men on BMX bikes.

At about midnight on Saturday, June 18, the man was walking through Leadenhall, when the three men approached him from the Coffee Hall direction.

One of them asked for the time and after leaving the man realised they were following him.

One of the men then told the victim not to run before they pushed him to the ground before kicking and punching him and stealing his phone and wallet.

The main offender is black with very dark skin, aged between 17 and 24-years-old, medium build, around 5ft 8ins tall with stubble on his face.

He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, zipped over his face, with dark tracksuit bottoms. Both of the other men looked very similar.

Det Con Reg Jones, said: “Luckily the victim was not injured in the robbery and did not require medical assistance but he was left very shaken.”
