Man stabbed in Central Milton Keynes

A man was stabbed in the shopping area of Central Milton Keynes last night.

Officers were called at 7.07pm yesterday evening (November 30) after reports that a man was branishing a knife.

The ambulance service was also called and the victim has been taken to hospital suffering from stab wounds.

Police arrested two men in CMK on suspicion of assault and they are currently in custody

Area commander Gez Chiariello, said: “While this was obviously distressing for those who witnessed this incident, I would like to reassure people that it was swiftly brought under control and is being thoroughly investigated.

“I would like to thank all those people who called in to make us aware of this incident, which also helped us deal with it so efficiently.

“A large part of CMK will be cordoned off to allow officers to investigate this incident.

“We would ask the local community for their patience as we carry out this work.

“We would also ask that anyone with any concerns or information about this incident is asked to call 101 or speak to an officer at the scene.”
