Man stabbed in lung during altercation in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident in which a man was stabbed in the lung.

At around 3.10pm last Thursday (February 16) the victim, a man aged in his fifties, was with his teenage son in Middlesex Drive in Bletchley when an altercation took place between the victim and another teenage boy.

During the altercation, the victim sustained a single stab wound to his back. The offender ran away in the direction of Melrose.

The victim drove himself to hospital where he was treated for injuries to his lung. He remains in hospital in a stable condition.

“I would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at around the time of the incident who may have information which could assist with our enquiries,” said Detective Sergeant Luke Grove, from Milton Keynes Force CID.
