A 20-YEAR-OLD man was threatened with a knife after being confronted by three men in an attempted robbery in Oldbrook on Sunday.
At around 4.45pm the man was walking through the play park in Douglas Place, when he saw three men. As he walked past them, one stepped towards him and produced a kitchen knife, which had a white handle with a 5in blade before demanding he hand over his mobile phone.
The victim stepped around him and continued walking. No property was taken from the victim and he did not suffer any injuries.
The offenders are all white. The first offender, who had the knife, is around 18-years-old, 5ft 10ins, heavy build, with a round face and a spotty complexion. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top with the hood up, and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms and trainers. He had a deep voice and spoke slowly.
The second offender is around 20-years old, slim, with a muscular jaw and dirty blond hair. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top with the hood up, and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms.
The third offender was wearing a dark coloured hooded top with the hood up, and dark coloured bottoms.
