Thousands of shoppers came to a standstill on Saturday as Midsummer Place Shopping Centre put on a fashion show with a difference.

15 Fashion Show Offs, exhibited a bite-sized collection of fashion, each lasting just four minutes taking place from 11am until 6pm – giving busy shoppers a glimpse at the latest winter fashion trends from some of the biggest names in retail.

Models posing as statuesque mannequins suddenly came to life to perform a highly choreographed dance routine lasting the length of a single song. General Manager at Midsummer Place, Martin Hindson, said: “This was a wonderful way for people with little time to stop and get a look at what’s on trend this season, which was delivered in a high energy and entertaining way.”

The retailers among those that took part included, Thackerays, Jack & Jones, Coast, TopMan, TopShop, Miss Selfridge, TM Lewin, Zara, Gap, and Debenhams.

Throughout the day people supported the event by tweeting the tag #welovefashion.
