Protesters, angry at plans for a £15 million development in Midsummer Place, held a demonstration today outside the shopping centre.

Xplain members, led by Linda Inoki, are angry at plans to build on open land between the Hollister and Gap stores which they feel would ‘dismantle the city centre.’

They feel that an electric shuttle service, running from Milton Keynes Central train station to Campbell Park would be a much better investment.

Legal and General, the company which has proposed the developments, is holding an open exhibition in Midsummer Place today and tomorrow and Linda has urged as many people to go and see it so they can then make informed decisions on the proposals.
