Milton Keynes Community Foundation charity car raffle is launched

The raffle is again being hosted at centre:mk and gives a platform to many of the hugely important charities and community groups in Milton Keynes who help to make the area such a fantastic place to live.

“Our Community Car Raffle is one of the rare times when many of those groups come to centre:mk and raise awareness of their wonderful work while raising valuable funds that will feed into their communities,” said a spokesman for the MKCF.

This year’s grand prize is a Volkswagen Polo Match: 1.0 Litre, 5-speed Manual, 5 door in White, generously donated by Volkswagen Group UK Ltd.

Money raised supports charities and community Groups in Milton Keynes making a difference to local lives.

“Funding from the Community Car Raffle has been used to support services, such as befriending, which reduce loneliness and isolation among older people in Milton Keynes,” said a spokesman for Age UK MK, explaining how the money makes a difference to those in the area.
