“May his soul rest in heaven. He will forever be in our hearts. We all love you and hope you are at peace now."
The family requested the final part of their statement be in Polish - 'Spoczywaj w pokoju wiecznym.'.
Translated, this means ‘May you rest in eternal peace’.
Mr Skubek is the fifth person to die of knife wounds in Milton Keynes over the past four and a half months.
Two people, a woman aged 49 from MK and 24-year-old man from Nuneaton were arrested at the scene. Both have since been released on conditional police bail.
