After their ‘No More Tory Cut’ conference on Saturday, Milton Keynes People’s Assembly is holding another big anti austerity protest in the town this evening.

It will take place outside of the Council Civic Offices on the evening the council budget cuts are agreed.

Speakers will include leading councilors and local activists.

“This will be a public rejection of Tory cuts for the whole of MK to see,” said a spokesman.

“This will be covered by the national media and will point the finger of blame clearly at the architects of austerity - our Tory MPs and the government they serve unquestioningly.”
