Milton Keynes performing arts school in the spotlight at world's largest youth theatre festical
Peploe-Williams Academy competed along with 10,000 young people from every corner of the UK, who each performed one of 12 outstanding plays drawn from 150 commissioned by the National Theatre since the festival began.
“Many of the cast members have been training with with me from as young as 5 years old and some are leaving this July to go to university or performing arts colleges,” said Principal Emma Peploe-Williams.

Hide Ad“Rehearsing and performing this play has been an emotional journey for them as their friendships are so strong, however, the opportunity of telling such a great story has further developed their bonds and friendships.
“It is a dream come true for the cast to perform at the Dorfman Theatre, as many have aspirations to work in performing arts.”
Peploe-Williams Academy will be performing Bassett, a play by James Graham at the Dorfman Theatre on Thursday 30th June at 8.30pm.
