PEOPLE in Milton Keynes have given police around 350 vital pieces of information relating to crimes around the city over the past year.

This figure, accounting for calls taken between April 2011 and March 2012, was up 16 per cent on the previous year and helped to make up the total figure of 2,736 pieces of information received by police from across Thames Valley.

The information led to 122 positive outcomes, 89 arrests and 30 people on the Most Wanted website.

However, one person from the Milton Keynes area, featured on the site, is still at large.

James Robert Bristow is wanted for failing to attend a court summons to answer charges relating to serious offences involving children.

He is thought to be living rough in the Devon and Cornwall area. It is known that at the beginning of May 2012 he was in the Wembury area of Plymouth.
