Milton Keynes school collects donations for Open Door

Green Park School in Newport Pagnell have been collecting food, clothes and toiletries to donate to a local homeless charity.

The school was approached by parent Emma Whiter, who wanted help Open Door MK ‘just to give something back’ to the community.

The school agreed and asked for donations from parents and pupils to help the homeless this Christmas.

On top of that, Green Park were given duvets from a local hotel to help the Winter Night Shelter at the Buszy.

A spokesperson from the school, said: “We have been overwhelmed with the support of our local community

“It really is making a difference to peoples lives.”
