HUNDREDS of people flocked to the Milton Keynes Model Engineering Society’s 10th annual charity day on Monday.

The event is held to help raise funds for disabled children and their families in Milton Keynes at the Caldecotte Miniature Railway in conjunction with Social Eyes and Milton Keynes Carers.

Visitors enjoyed a bouncy castle and a steam organ, which proved to be very popular, and the Mayor of Milton Keynes, councillor Catriona Morris even enjoyed a train ride herself.

Steve Jones, vice chairman of the Milton keynes Model Engineering Society, said: “I would like to thank everyone who gave up their time to volunteer to help out on the day, and to those members who provided the trains.”
