Minibus crash injures six children

Eight people - including a 12-week-old baby - have been hospitalised following a dramatic minibus crash in Scotland.

The group, all from Milton Keynes, were travelling through Dumfries and Galloway last night when the bus overturned.

The baby girl is thought to have suffered head injuries, while two girls aged 16 and 13, three boys aged 12, 10 and eight years old stayed overnight at York Hill Sick Kid Hospital in Glasgow with minor injuries.

They were joined by a 37-year-old male passenger and the 33-year-old driver.

The group was hurt when the white coloured LDV minibus they were travelling in left the A74(M) the southbound carriageway of the Glasgow to Carlisle Road.

The bus overturned about there miles south of the Greenhill Stairs overbridge at Moffat at around 5.25pm.

Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses and has asked anyone with information to get in contact.
