IT’S not the cat, but the Comedy Cow that has the cream this Thursday evening, when the funny affair welcomes Daniel Simenson to the fore.

The Norwegian comic bagged the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012, which puts him in perfect company – previous recipients of the respected gong include Tim Vine, Sarah Millican and Milton Jones.

Daniel won’t be going it alone for the bash at Stony Stratford watering hole, The Crown, mind.

Joining him and bringing more laughs to the pot include compere Eddie Twist, and Joe Seville will let his character comedy loose as well.

Tickets are £7 available from The Crown, or online: www.thecomedycow.co.uk

> From the best of the new breed, to an old favourite – Dame Edna.

Miss Everage has announced she will be visiting the city in October, with her Farewell show, Eat, Pray, Laugh!

While not quite Julia Roberts, she’s not looking too bad.

Considering ‘she’ is really 78-year-old Barry Humphries, she ain’t half looking good.

The Aussie lovely has announced a four day stay at Milton Keynes Theatre, starting on October 23rd, and she had this message for GO! readers:

“Hello Possums!

“For many years my friends have told me not to miss Milton Keynes, one of Britain’s major hotspots.

“The chance has at last arrived but since it’s my Farewell Tour my Milton Keynes’ Possums will have to say hello and goodbye at the same time.

“It is a very special show and it is my best, quite frankly.

“You will see me at the height of my powers and I am already very excited at the prospect of meeting you and wallowing in the beauty of your city.

“I’ve missed you Possums, don’t miss me!!”

Tickets are available on 0844 871 7652.
