THE 23rd annual Milton Keynes Community Car Raffle launched at thecentre:mk this morning (Monday).
Last year’s raffle raised a staggering £33,000 in support of city charities and community groups.
Ninety-five community groups and charities have pleged their support, including AGE UK, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and St Johns Ambulance, all four of which attended today’s launch.
To be in with a chance of winning the top prize – a brand-new VW High up! – head down to the car’s site, located near Middleton Hall, and purchase your £1 ticket.
The MK Community Foundation has enjoyed huge success with the raffle in recent years, yet with the need for vital funds greater than ever, it is hoping to equal, or even exceed, last years total.
This will enable the organisation to provide worthy causes with the support they so desperately need. If you belong to a group that is not yet registered with the MK Community Car Raffle and would be interested in selling tickets, the Foundation would love to hear from you. Any funds you raise will be split between your group and the MK Community Foundation.
The car and space are generously donated by and thecentre:mk.
