An event bringing together business and the local community launches next month.
The first of its kind, MK Exhibition will feature an ‘ask the expert’ panel to seek advice on a wide range range of business issues, with the opportunity for entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas in the Business Den.
Councillor Brian White, the Mayor of Milton Keynes will cut the ribbon to
officially launch the event on Wednesday, April 30.
Visitors will also be invited to share skills, expertise and network in a
relaxed and engaging environment. The inaugural event will also feature specialist workshops and presentations by some of Milton Keynes’ brightest business leaders hoping inspire local entrepreneurs.
Darren Thomson, communications director of MK Exhibition, said: “We know
how difficult is for small and medium businesses to get out in front of the
right audience. We want to bring the best local businesses in MK to the
centre of our community, showcasing what makes MK a great place to be.
We’re delighted that the Mayor will be opening the first MK Exhibition in the
heart of our community.”
The MK Christian Centre was chosen as the venue for MK Exhibition to support the great
work they do for the local community. This includes The Food Bank, which
is run in collaboration with the Milton Keynes Community Foundation,
which provides local families, and individuals with essential food supplies at
a time when they need them most.
