A group of Milton Keynes ladies are supporting the fight against breast cancer as they prepare to walk 26 miles around London in ribbon-decorated bras.

Group leader, Karen Barrington, said: “I take the ladies out every weekend for a training walk and are currently up to 18 miles.

“We hope to complete the full 26 miles in seven hours.”

The women have so far raised more than £1,000 in sponsorship for the Moonwalk, and hope to boost this figure further through fundraising events and activites, including a pub crawl in Stony Stratford on May 4 from 7pm.

Karen, who is a nail technician, will also be offering breast cancer themed nail art to the public for £5, with all proceedings donated to the charity. Visit www.acenailz.co.uk for more details.

Moonwalk London will take place from midnight on May 11. To sponsor the ladies and the Breast Cancer cause, visit http://www.walkthewalkfundraising.org/the_mk_bosom_buddies
