A man accused of historic child sex offences has appeared in court.
Brian Maxwell, of Chetwode Avenue, MK, has been charged with three counts of buggery with a boy under the age of 16 and three counts of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 14 years.
He appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court in Kent yesterday afternoon where he spoke only to confirm his name and address.
The alleged offences are said to have been committed in Folkestone in the early 1980s.
The 47-year-old was released on conditional bail and is next due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on March 7.
