Shoppers at the MK1 Retail Park will soon be able to enjoy a new Next store which will finally fill the last available unit.

The new 12,113 square feet store, opening next Thursday (28/3) will be a resite from the current store on the Westcroft Retail Park, which will close on Sunday at 5pm.

With the new store only three miles away all the current staff from the current Westcroft store will be able to transfer to MK1. The new store wil be more fashion focused, with the womens and childrenswear department increasing in size and the home department slightly decreasing.

A Next spokesman said: “The retail park near stadium:mk has so many other fashion retailers it made sense to have a fashion lead store. Although we are decreasing the home floor space by a small amount, our home customers will not need to worry, Next opened a home stand alone store in Milton Keynes back in December 2011.”

To celebrate the opening of the store the first 100 customers will receive a Golden Ticket guaranteeing a prize and one lucky customer will win a £75 next Gift Card.

For customers who cannot make the opening, Next are holding an Easter bunny hunt within the childrenswear department on March 29 and March 30. For the chance to win a top prize of a £75 Next gift card and two runner up prizes, customers will need to find all three hidden bunnies in store.
