HUNDREDS of people enjoyed a top line-up of local and international musicians at The Big Summer Blow Out Festival at the weekend.

Local artistes The Wondersmiths and Ben Whyman created a fantastic vibe before Alonestar and Jerome Price sent the atmosphere soaring with their incredible sets at the Xscape based event in Central Milton Keynes.

More than 1,500 revellers were wowed by the breathtaking pyrotechnic displays of Deabru Beltzac’s Drums of Fire; part of IF2012 - the Milton Keynes International Festival.

The Big Summer Blow Out Festival, which included live fashion shows and street entertainment for all ages, was the highlight of the summer season at Xscape.

More free entertainment is planned for the holidays with a huge skatepark opening at Xscape from August 6 to 26 including rails and jumps.
