MOTOCROSS will return to Milton Keynes after the circuit at Pineham got the go-ahead to reopen next month.
The track, located next to junction 14 of the M1, was closed in 2009 by Milton Keynes Council after 25 years of use.
However, plans to re-open the circuit have been given the go-ahead after the Parks Trust granted a licence allowing it to be used 28 days a year.
But one resident said she was ‘incandescent with rage’ after hearing the news.
In a letter to the Citizen, Mrs Phillips said: “When the motocross was running before, it was impossible to sit in our gardens because of the interminable whine of the bike engines.”
The Parks Trust is writing to residents and an open day will take place on October 14.
