Motorcyclist, 60, killed after collision

A 60-YEAR-OLD man has died after a road traffic collision on Friday.

The collision happened at about 8.05pm when a black BMW M3 and red and silver Harley Davidson motorcycle collided on the V3 Fulmer Street, at the junction with Hawkshead Drive.

The 60-year-old man riding the motorcycle sustained serious head and chest injuries in the collision and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for treatment, where he was later pronounced dead.

PC Claire Greene said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the area who may have witnessed the collision to come forward and help us with our investigation.

“I understand there was also a driver of another vehicle who stopped at the scene to assist, but who left before police arrived. I am very keen to trace this person and would urge them to come forward.”
