A new Marie Curie Cancer Care shop will open in Bletchley on Thursday (March 26).

The Queensway store will have the ribbon cut by the charity’s head of shops Alec Barclay. Funds raised will support Marie Curie Nurses who work in the local community and make it possible for terminally ill people to spend their final days at home.

Mr Barclay said: “We are delighted to be trading in Bletchley, and I am extremely thankful to all our hard working staff and volunteers who have rallied round to get the new shop up and running. I hope people will pop by our fantastic new shop, meet the team and have a look through our wide range of high quality items at really great prices.

“Every purchase will help Marie care for more people living with a terminal illness.”

If you are interested in volunteering at the shop call 01908 376085.
