As the New Year encourages many to re-think their career, the Milton Keynes Job Show returns to showcase the city’s best employment and training opportunities.
From 10am on Friday and Saturday at centre:mk, over 100,000 people are expected to flood in following last year’s successful event.
City MPs Mark Lancaster, MP for Milton Keynes North, and MK South MP Iain Stewart first launched the event three years ago and will be there on Friday to open the show.
Mr Lancaster said: “We had no idea what a success if would become and the staggering number of jobs it would provide as a result.
“It’s a great way to allow businesses to recruit from a wide range of applicants and to promote their visibility to nearly 100,000 people.
“The show will provide direct access to a huge range of vacancies for engineers, business professionals, scientists, sales & marketing specialists together with training and job opportunities.
“This also includes jobs for those with no skills or low skill levels and to provide greater opportunities for individuals to obtain sustainable employment.
“I would encourage anyone who is looking for a job at the moment, who is unemployed and tired of sending out multiple applications without getting a response, or is simply look for a fresh start, to come down on Friday or Saturday to the Show.”
