Have your say

Newport Pagnell Town Council has re-entered the Britain in Bloom competition again this year after two successful years where they have been awarded silver. Judging Day is July 11, and everyone can help, just by taking home their litter, picking up the odd bit of litter where it is evident on the streets, roads and parks, keeping gardens tidy and cutting back hedges to increase visibility.

The spirit of community involvement is what achieves great rewards, and in Newport Pagnell the town is proud of its spirit, as can be seen by all the wonderful spring flowers and bulbs planted by volunteer groups around the town and the floral displays of pubs and shops.

If you would like to join a volunteer group for community planting, please contact the Town Clerk on TownClerk@newport-pagnell.org.uk

The observant amongst you may have noticed new brackets on the lamps posts throughout the Town. The Town Council is pleased to announce that this year hanging baskets and flowering tubs will be placed throughout the Town to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee, in traditional colours of red, white and blue.
