Do you know somebody who deserves to be the pride of Milton Keynes?

It may be a person who goes out of their way to help others, or someone who has overcome hardship and come out smiling.

Or it could be somebody who volunteers their time and energy to help improve the community and make a difference to the lives of others.

Whoever it is, why not nominate them for a Pride in Milton Keynes 2013 Award?

There are ten categories: Young Achiever of the Year, sponsored by Marshall, Safer MK Award, sponsored by Safer MK, Friendly Neighbour, Service with a Smile, sponsored by Domino’s Pizza, Fundraiser of the Year , Excellence in Education, sponsored by University Campus Milton Keynes, Outstanding Example of Bravery, sponsored by Milton Keynes Christian Foundation, Care in the community, sponsored by Ikea, Unsung Hero/Heroine Award and People’s Choice Award, which is sponsored by Western Power Distribution,

Please give us as many details as you can to assist the judges when they pick the winners.

Closing date for entries is Friday, September 6 and our gala presentation ceremony will be held on Friday, October 4 at the Hilton Hotel in Kents Hill Park.

Presenting the awards will be Jennie McAlpine, otherwise known as Fiz from Coronation Street.
