Nursery supports safe surfing

The campaign launched earlier this month and is celebrated in over one hundred countries. On Tuesday February 7, staff at Kiddi Caru signed up and committed to join the campaign’s endeavour to “be the change: unite for a better internet”.

So far, staff at the Caldecotte and Walnut Tree nurseries have sent internet safety packs featuring lots of leaflets full of information to families and carers.

The ongoing programme of activities that staff will commit to include promoting a safer internet on the Kiddi Caru website and social media platforms and embracing safe internet use every day in the nursery environment.

Both nurseries have also introduced the book Digiduck’s Big Decision to children and their families. This resource is about friendship and responsibilities online and is available to families as a downloadable app.
