HUNDREDS of people visited the Big Olney Food Festival at the weekend to sample the best the town’s eating establishments have to offer.
Organised by the Olney Chamber of Trade, BOFF was set up so that food fanatics, hungry locals and even just families out and about can sample what is being served up in nearby restaurants, pubs and other eateries.
It wasn’t just food on the agenda though, this year BOFF featured several musicians, jugglers, face painting, wine tasting and many more activities throughout the afternoon.
Judging the festival’s ‘bake-off’ competition was Milton Keynes’ Mayor, Councillor Catriona Morris.
She said: “There’s a wonderful amount of different foods on offer so we can only hope it remains a permanent fixture.”
