STRENGTH and stamina will be tested when staff at Busy Bees Nursery take part in a sponsored row-a-thon.

The Oldbrook nursery is raising money for the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust which aims to ‘create life chances for young people’ by introducing them to Olympians and Paralympians.

All staff are taking it in turns to use a rowing machine to row the distance from the nursery, located on Duckworth Court, to Wembley Stadium, which is just over 48 miles.

Nursery manager, Lorraine Harben, said: “We will be working together to give each other support and the children will cheer us on.”
