Open University to celebrate Charter Day on its birthday

The Open University is celebrating Charter Day on April 23 which is its 44th anniversary.

To celebrate the OU is holding a community event, hosted by Vice-Chancellor, Martin Bean. Open University staff will be joined by various guests, including leaders from the Milton Keynes Council, The Stables, MK Dons, MK Business Leaders and Partnership and Destination MK.

Staff and guests will arrive around 10.15am ready for the Vice Chancellor’s charter day speech at 10.30am. Inside there will be a University Showcase, with 40 stands showing off the work of the OU students.
