HEARTS and flowers will be the order of the day this coming Monday, as Cupid sharpens his arrow and sets out on some romantic missions.
But if you are seeking a blind date with a difference, make tracks to the RSPCA.
The MK & North Bucks branch of the animal charity will host its fourth annual Valentine’s Speed Dating event this weekend.
Volunteers at the centre will host special ‘speed dates’ with the centre’s moggies. They will even help the ambience with romantic music and subdued lighting too. We kid you not.
Bookings for the dating sessions will be subject to a home visit from the charity and if you find your perfect match, a minimum of £50 per cat is asked for.
“We all know that pets can provide truly special relationships – so what better event than Valentine’s for some of our loving, beautiful but homeless cats to find their perfect owners?” asks RSPCA Cattery co-ordinator Vivienne Dalton.
Book your speed dating session by calling MK 611179.
